Boardwalk Gaming Charities Celebrating 21 Years of Donating 300 Turkeys to Sudbury Families at Christmas

Dec 12, 2017 – Sudbury, ON – Boardwalk Gaming Charities’ Sudbury Charities Foundation and ACT/UCT Sudbury are celebrating 21 years of donating 300 turkeys to Greater Sudbury families at Christmas time.  The campaign which represents approximately $200,000 in donations, was started by Bingo One/Boardwalk Gaming Founder, Ray Loiselle 21 years ago.  Loiselle and Boardwalk Gaming Charities partnered with Sudbury Charities Foundation and ACT/UCT Sudbury to ensure 300 families had turkey dinners for Christmas.

“This initiative is an important one to the Boardwalk Gaming Charities,” says Richard Schwar, Charity Coordinator, Charitable Gaming Association. “This initiative helps make the holidays a little brighter for 300 families in Greater Sudbury. We are honoured to continue the legacy that Ray Loiselle had started over 21 years ago.”

Revenues raised through gaming at Boardwalk Gaming Sudbury help Boardwalk Gaming Charities’ Sudbury Charities Foundation and ACT/UCT Sudbury ensure this program continues each year.
